Table Tennis is catching on in Ruan Lanihorne and they’re looking for like-minded villages to start a small league. A hard core of twelve enthusiastic beginners in Ruan, of mixed abilities and ages, has formed meeting on a fortnightly basis in the Reading Room.
David Hamblett told Roseland Online – “We play all year and soon we will have two tables. The whole point of forming the club was to get people out in the evening to socialise and at the same time have some fairly friendly competition. Some are more competitive than others!”
Now the team are looking for looking for some like-minded competition across the Roseland preferably on a home and away basis. Matches could be a mixture of singles and doubles and, most importantly, of all abilities.
Anyone interested in some friendly competition can contact David on 01872 500922.
You’re on! St Just Ping Pong club also looking for some friendly competition! In fact, I think we are already talking dates with you for the autumn. Can’t wait!
Hi Mary,
