This month we want to take the opportunity to say a big thank you and a fond farewell to Colin Rees. After 15 years he has decided it is time to retire from writing his monthly Beemania article for the Roseland Online Magazine.

Colin, is a former President of the Cornwall Beekeepers Association. He has been a beekeeper for 27 years and has been teaching and giving talks about beekeeping for some 25 years. His detailed articles have been full of advice and interest and made fascinating reading.

We will miss our monthly dip into his life as a beekeeper and what his bees have been up to, and would like to thank him for the support he has given Roseland Online.

Colin will continue selling his honey – but supplies are low because of the conditions this year. He is hoping July will come good! He is still available for talks about beekeeping and you will continue to find him at his stall on the Veryan Market which is held on the first Saturday of the month throughout the summer.

Everyone who writes for Roseland Online does it on a voluntary basis and kindly gives their time completely free of charge.
