A handy little book, particularly for those who, like me, wake in the night full of good ideas which disappear by morning. Keep it by the bed to note down ideas and stop your brain going round and round. Or read some of the quotes, which range from the drily amusing (“The average, healthy, well adjusted adult gets up at seven-thirty in the morning feeling just plain terrible”) to the profound (“A ruffled mind makes a restless pillow”).
This book would make a suitable present for a birthday or as a gift for someone who’s been feeling under par.
But remember, “the best cure for insomnia is to get a lot of sleep.”
