02/08/2023Traditional, good old-fashioned fun for all the family with a greasy pole, sheaf pitching, skittle alley, coconut shy, nail driving, dog racing (bring your dog!), sheep racing, egg throwing, barrel organ, vintage tractors, pony rides and much more. For example various stalls with treasure map, bric a brac, books, tombola, cakes, plants etc. Free car parking and entry. Support from the St John’s Ambulance. And, as always, there will plenty of good food and drink with barbecue, paella pans, tea and cakes, and a bar with locally-brewed beer.
It's a great evening of fun for all the family. All proceeds in aid of the Friends of the Church of St. Philleigh.

05/08/2023EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS from St.Mawes Art Group, taking place on Sat 5th to Sat 19th August, inclusive, from 10.00am to 4.30pm, in the Millennium Rooms, (found on the right as you enter the main car park in St.Mawes; just look up at the balcony for a large banner and colourful flags.)
Many pictures never seen before and many new ones! And of course, a good supply of hand painted cards, blank inside for your message, to purchase very cheaply. Do come and enjoy.
Entry is FREE, and there is absolutely no obligation to buy anything!
