Philleigh Folk - Singers Charity Night, 19:30 – 20:30 – Our ‘singers’ charity nights’ have been so successful they are now an annual event, giving local performers a chance to ‘strut their stuff’. In the past our singers’ sessions have produced some amazing performances from young ‘rising stars’ and are always great entertainment, and all for a great cause as all proceeds go to ‘Children in Need’ |

04/11/2017(2 events) Veryan Market, 10:30 – 12:30 – We have over 20 local stall-holders selling a large range of products including home-made bread, delicious cakes and Cornish pasties, organic meats, locally grown plants, locally grown vegetables in season, home-made preserves, local eggs and hand-crafted items including cards, gifts, jewellery, artwork, photography, crochet and sewing, etc. There will be two new producers as well, one selling seaweed skincare products and the other home-made fudge (which is delicious, I can assure you). Come and have a chat with them and find out more about their products. You can also indulge in a cup of tea or cafetière coffee with a slice of scrumptious cake for only £1.50 in friendly, relaxed surroundings. Meet up with your friends or neighbours and see if there's something that takes your fancy. Tregony Bonfire and Firework Display, 18:30 – 21:00 – Large Bonfire and professional firework display. There will be a bbq , selling food at reasonable prices and fairground rides for children. Prize for the Best Guy. |

She has studied in Canada, America and currently is at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Performances have taken place throughout the UK, Europe and Canada. This concert will include works by Schumann, Chopin, Britten and leading 20th century Polish composer Lutoslawski. Yoanna will be accompanied by the acclaimed and experienced Rosie Richardson.

Philleigh Folk - Martyn Babb, 19:30 For our last offering before a Christmas break, we present Martyn Babb. Roger Bryant told us at Bude Festival to “listen to this man, he’s a great entertainer” and boy, was he right!! Martyn is difficult to categorise, a folk singer and musician, certainly, but he is much more than that. He is an MC, a comic, a teller of tales….. - the term entertainer probably best sums him up. We can promise a great start to the festive season…… |

Roseland Music Society: Rosanna Ter-Berg (Flute) Leo Nicholson (Piano), 19:30 Rosanna Ter-Berg’s striking performances have led her to be described as ‘super-charged’ with ‘unstinting virtuosity and personality’. Roseanna and Leo were due to play during February 2014, but sadly the weather decreed otherwise. It has taken some time to rearrange a visit but at last we can enjoy this highly rated pair. A varied and interesting programme with a French flavour has something for everyone.
