A big shout-out to our co-editor Peter Evans and the community spirit of those who love the Roseland.

Peter’s weekly email, sent out to over 1350 Roseland Online readers, which asked for help with PPE for Roseland Surgeries, caught the attention of a kind-hearted visitor, Paul Over from Hong Kong, who has family connections here going back to his Great Grandfather.

Without blinking an eye, Paul went out and sourced a large quantity of face masks and, after contacting Roseland Surgeries Practice Manager, Nicola Davies MA, had the shipment sent direct to the practice free of charge.

Paul told us, ‘On seeing Roseland Online’s prompt for PPE by the Surgery, I knew I could source some. The Roseland is a truly  unique place, as you don’t need reminding!’

This is just a small fraction of the outpourings of community spirit the Roseland has been graced with during these hard times and I want to thank everyone who has pledged help and is helping on a day-to-day basis all over the Roseland. And to those who have donated so generously to both the Roseland meals-on-wheels service and Roseland Online’s own donations page.

Your generosity is truly humbling.
