02.06.11: The Devon and Cornwall Police would like businesses on the Roseland to be aware that they have received reports of males ‘ringing the changes’ in Newquay and Truro.

The males purchased low value items and then distracted and confused till staff and obtained extra change from the transaction.

The suspect descriptions are of two white males with short, receding hair, in their 40’s, 5’ 8” – 5’ 10” in height and of heavy/muscular build, and came across as very confident. They would like to remind cashiers not to change money for various denominations if they feel they are trying to be confused.
