John Challis, who is best known for playing Boycie in Only Fools and Horses,will be making a visit to Portscatho Harbour Club this evening (Saturday 9th March) as part of the book launch for his biography, ‘Being Boycie’.
He intends to pop in to the club between 4 & 5pm to sign copies of his book and to partake in publicity material.
The book covers his life and career before becoming a national treasure. Over his long career, John has worked in a huge variety of roles, from the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, to touring Tom Stoppard’s plays in America, while on television he’s appeared in Z-Cars, Coronation Street, Doctor Who and a host of other popular series. It’s a story that is, above all, honest, touching and very funny.
