Pebble House in Mevagissey, Cornwall is celebrating Gold award success in the South West Excellence Awards, held recently in Exeter Cathedral. They had only recently won Gold in the Cornwall Tourism Awards and both wins were after their first time entering and within the first two and half years of opening. Not only this, they also scooped finalist status in the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence!

Escaping Londoners Andrea & Simon Copper (right), Owners of Pebble House, are now on tenterhooks as finalists in the VisitEngland national awards.

Speaking to Roseland Online, Andrea said “We are totally astounded to have won such amazing recognition in our first two and half years of Pebble House being open. The Cornwall Tourism Awards were the first awards that we have ever entered, so to win Gold in those and now go on to win Gold regionally and reach the national finals is a huge honour. We owe our thanks to our suppliers as the quality of their products adds to our high standards already offered and also our fabulous guests who keep returning, some as many as seven times in under three years”

Also celebrating a bronze award in both the Cornwall and South West Awards are Roundhouse Barn Holidays at St Just-in-Roseland.  Mark Sadler (left) was quick to take to Twitter to share their win and to say how delighted they were too.
