Local based UrlaubCornwall has today launched ‘Made in Cornwall’, a new section of the German language information website that enables Cornish producers to show and sell their goods to the largest group of international tourists to the county.

With visitors from Germany, Switzerland and Austria making up 40{c8c3b3d140ed11cb7662417ff7b2dc686ffa9c2daf0848ac14f76e68f36d0c20} of all overseas visitors, this platform puts Cornish products in front of this hugely important market  – before, during and after their holidays.

UrlaubCornwall is most prominent guide to the county on the internet in the German language. They are now broadening the site’s offering to further take advantage of the almost compulsive interest in Rosamunde Pilcher books and films and all things Cornish.

Although the site is completely in the German language, the phrase ‘Made in’ is familiar to Germans on their imported goods, giving the section its title ‘Made in Cornwall’.
