The much loved and long running Mevagissey Feast Week, returns this June. With plenty of new members joining the committee, a lot of work and planning has been put in over the winter months to put on a full programme of events for 2017.
This year will see a continuation of the format that has been successfully developed over recent years, whilst retaining elements of the old traditions of the Feast of St Peter which dates back to 1754 and is one of Cornwall’s oldest festivals.
Bringing together a familiar mix of live music, flora dancing, fete and carnival, the week will start on Sunday 25th June with the Fish Festival and run until Saturday 1st July. Detailed information about the week’s events will be available in the programme closer to the time and will be in Roseland Online’s calendar.
