Rachael and Vicky from Ralph’s Stores in Portscatho handed over a cheque for nearly £700 to the children of Gerrans Parish Youth Club last night.
As Part of Nisa’s ‘Making a Difference Locally’ campaign which has been developed to make donations to charitable causes selected by participating retailers, the Ralph’s team decided on the Youth Club as their recipients.
Rachael told Roseland Online, “We’re delighted to be able to help out such a worthy cause and hope to help with much more once the summer season has finished.”
Youth Club leaders, Debbie Walker and Mark Hatwood added, “As well as running the weekly Friday evening Youth Club, we’re always trying to make life exciting for the kids by taking them on outings like Paintballing, Bowling and BBQs, so this money will go a long way towards some more outings; especially as numbers are bursting at the moment! A big thanks to Rachael, Vicky and the Ralph’s team!”
