On Tuesday 30 April at 7pm there will be an Open Evening at Veryan Parish Hall to discuss progress on the Veryan Allotments and Community Orchard and answer any questions you may have about the project and hear about any plans or ideas for the future.

A new committee has been set up to manage the project. Anyone interested in a plot or being involved with the community orchard can contact the committee through the project’s Facebook page – Veryan Allotments and Community Orchard. Or drop an email to Bethany Tregunna bethandain@hotmail.co.uk

The committee is very keen for this to be a community project and are hoping as many people as possible can enjoy the orchard as well as the plots. There will be a committee meeting before the public meeting when it’s hoped there will be more news on a start date. Hopefully next month we will have news on when digging will begin.
