Road Shows in Truro St Mawes and Veryan to explain everything about the new food waste changes to our collections.
All the information about the waste changes is online at https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/wastechanges
There are a number of links here to ask questions or report any issues. The advice is that it is quickest and easiest to make queries online.
Information can also be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/cornwallrecycles
The phone number to call the council about the waste changes is 0300 1234 141
Please note:
• Residents won’t be able to use their existing rubbish bins once the new service starts. We encourage everybody to consider reusing their old bin, for example, as a garden water butt, a compost bin, a place to store firewood, or for rinsing out wet suits. If not, we can collect and – where possible – recycle it once the new service has started. Residents must sign up by midnight on 12 March to access this service. https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/rubbish-recycling-andwaste/new-food-waste-recycling-and-rubbish-service/ask-us-to-recycle-your-old-bin
