Now, an admission: we have done the leg previously but managed to start off in the wrong direction first time round, (we ended up on coast path, not the Cornish way).
Still, no problems this time. Great leg, past the Merry Maidens. Rumour has it that a bunch of women turned to stone for dancing around their handbags on mid-summer’s day instead of being in the pub… according to Chris.
We also saw a drone hovering above a churchyard, possibly looking for grave robbers! Anyway, Burke and Hare cycle past (or should that be Burke and no hair? You decide). The rest of the cycle was great and we had a wonderful reception at the rugby club.
Here’s looking forward to Sunday!
