There was considerable local success for Roseland Peninsula and South Central Cornwall businesses this week at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2014/15. Amongst the worthy winners at the at 6th November ceremony were the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trethem Mill Touring Park, who both won Gold Awards, with Lost Gardens carrying off the Winner of Winners Award to add to their collection.
Bronze Awards also went to St Mawes Hotel, The Idle Rocks, and to local pub The King’s Head in Ruan Lanihorne.
Having never entered any awards in their 10 years at The Kings Head, owners Andrew & Niki Law told Roseland Online that they are ‘absolutely delighted’ at being given this prestigious award.
Councillor Julian German, Portfolio Holder for Economy and Culture at Cornwall Council added, “Behind the glamour of the Cornwall Tourism Awards is a rigorous judging process. The trophies are a symbol of hard work, investment and passion, and considering the size of Cornwall’s visitor economy, winning one is a highly accomplished feat.’
Congratulations to all the winners from Roseland Online for once again confirming that the Roseland Peninsula and South Central Cornwall is hard to beat for both value and quality.
I think Roseland Online and the Roseland magazine should be nominated for an award. Both have kept us informed and are a wealth of information. Love reading both. Keep up the good work to all involved.
