he Police would like to make all shops aware that they have received reports of distraction thefts from shops in Cornwall.

The reports have been of a male distracting staff by using story lines such as collecting lost keys, asking for items to be wrapped, collecting empty boxes, or asking for items normally kept at the back of the store. Money is stolen from tills whilst staff are distracted.
