05.02.12: Over the Easter bank holiday The Barley Sheaf at Gorran will be opening its doors to celebrate a wealth of unique Cornish craft talent.
The fair will include exhibitors like The Little Cornish Soap Company, Lou Tonkin’s Art and Graft and recycled artwork from Pencoise Studios. There will also be quilting, glassware, jewelry, candle craft, fine art and much more available.
Organiser, Lydia Blackie, told Roseland Online, “We are hoping to raise money for Richard White’s Mongolian Rally; supporting The Lotus Children’s Appeal, and The Stroke Association, so we hope everyone will come and join us for a relaxing and creative Easter weekend!”
The three-day fair will be open from 12pm until 6pm on the 6th, 7th and 8th of April in the Barley Sheaf’s Function Room. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the excellent array of crafts exhibited and entrance is free. For more details, please contact Lydia for further details: 01726 843330
And why not append this event with visiting the fabulous Homespun Easter Fair at Portscatho Memorial Hall on Monday 9th between 10.00 am – 3.00 pm? They have vintage, retro and handmade goods on sale with almost 20 stalls selling vintage textiles, fashion, haberdashery.kitchenalia, toys, books, ephemera and flowers.
