Invisible Kitties by Yu Yoyu

Illustrated by the author, a well known Chinese poet and artist, this is the story of Cat and his humans. Cat was everywhere at once, splayed in all directions, but too soft to get in the way.
Anyone who knows cats will recognise what it means to be owned by one and this book will reveal details you’d not been aware of previously. For example, you may not have known exactly where kittens come from, how cats can insert themselves into tiny spaces or how they navigate in strange surroundings.
You probably already know they make good hot water bottles, but perhaps you didn’t know they can also double as kettles (but please don’t be alarmed by the chapter headed ‘Boiling cat’. It’s not a recipe).
Quirky, amusing and slightly bonkers, I enjoyed it very much.
