Portscatho was this year’s venue for the Roseland Gig Club’s annual event (5th September) and despite the inclement weather, the day was a real hit.

The well-contested races included Men’s B, Ladies B, Juniors, Men’s A and Ladies A, and the well-supported event was rounded off with presentations outside the Plume of Feathers public house.

Established in 1986, the Roseland Gig club is based in St. Mawes and currently has four Cornish Pilot Gigs, WilliamPeters, Rhos, Killigerran and Polvarth.
