02.05.12: Classic Sailing has launched new website to keep up with its growing fleet of tall ships and traditional boats.
The business, based on the Roseland Peninsula, was founded in 1996 by Adam and Debbie Purser and offers ‘hands on’ adventures to a wide range of traditional craft and tall ships around the world.
Adam told Roseland Online, “We needed to be able to update the site easily and quickly with more and more voyages coming on stream. We also wanted to make it easier for people to use the site and to take bookings online.”
After a year of planning and four months implementation the new site, designed and built by a local web designer, is up and running with a fresh look and great photos.
Adam added, “The new site is easier to use and we have noticed better site usage and sign up even in the first days. All the marketing the company does is internet based so a major consideration for Classic Sailing’s future will be the availability of Superfast broadband in the Roseland,” a campaign headed by Roseland Online editor Mark Hatwood and Martin Edwards.
We wish them all the best with the new addition to their growing business and you can browse the site by visiting: www.classic-sailing.co.uk
