Well, it’s only 1 more sleep until Oarsome Foursome fly to La Gomera in readiness for the big row 12 sleeps later!
We’re all ready to go. It’s been 2.5 years in the making so we’re very keen to get out there on Liberty again and start the race proper.
The long range weather forecast isn’t looking great – winds against us and stormy but that can change (and so can the start date if the conditions aren’t right!).
You can download a free app to track our progress and/or subscribe to our newsletter. We’ll have regular updates throughout the race. Full details on our website www.oarsomefoursome.co.uk or FB page.
You may also want to follow the race organisers (Atlantic Campaigns) who will also issue updates via FB on all the crews.
We’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank again to all our supporters. This has been a tough and emotional journey for us all and of course it couldn’t have happened without that support. Please keep following us, sharing posts and adding to the collection pots as we’re still fundraising for our 3 local SW charities!!!
Well done girls. Good luck. Keep smiling. We crossed the Atlantic in January on a cruise liner and passed one of last years challengers. The liner hooted and we all waved, so keep a lookout for big ships.
