Portscatho stores has taken delivery of the Roseland’s first self-serve milk station.
In its continuing bid to move towards a plastic-free Roseland, Jeff & Helen Smith have installed the station to counter the amount of plastic milk bottles they sell. You can now buy their milk using your own reusable glass bottles.
1 litre of semi skimmed milk is just 85p and 500ml semi skimmed is 45p.
This is the second big step towards their aim to help the Roseland become Plastic-free after launching their innovative bag-for-life this summer, free to all Portscatho and Gerrans residents, and we congratulate them on their efforts.
Have you got a plastic-free story you want to tell? If so, we’d love to share it. Just email submission@roselandonline.co.uk and we’ll let our readers know.
