18.11.11: Following the great success of this year’s Carnival Week in St Mawes, the St Mawes Carnival Committee is delighted to be able to donate a total of £4,000 to the following local organisations: Gerrans & St Mawes United FC, Harbour Lights Committee, Roseland Community Transport, Gig Club, St Just & St Mawes Heritage Group, St Just in Roseland Parish Council for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, St Mawes Fire Brigade, St Mawes Golden Age Club, St Mawes Playgroup, St Mawes Recreation Ground and the St Mawes School PTA

Jennie Martin told Roseland Online, “This would not have been possible without the huge generosity of our local businesses and everyone who supported the events, and plans are already under way for next year’s carnival week.”
