25.11.11: St Mawes Swimming Club is open to receive new members. The ciub started back in February and meets every Saturday at midday on Summer’s Beach in St Mawes. Some of the members are still just wearing swim suits whilst others wear a wet suit (sounds favourable to me. Ed.).

Member, Amelia Whittaker told Roseland Online, “Anyone under fourteen-years-old needs to be accompanied by an adult. Tim and I swim every Saturday rain/shine/sleet, you name it! It’s a great way to stay fit through the winter months and perhaps start training for the RNLI Swim Castle to Castle next Summer.”

Taking part is free and everyone is welcome. Just meet on the beach at midday every/or any Saturday and Bob’s your uncle!
