09.07.11: Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (CAOB) and Cornwall Council, together with the Milestone Society are inviting Central South Cornwall residents to attend a public meeting to discuss The Roseland Fingerpost Improvements Pilot Project 12th July in Veryan Village Hall at 7pm. Supported by Councillor Julian German, the aim of the project is to record all the cast-iron fingerposts within the pilot area of the Roseland in order to identify improvement works and then their highways teams intend to undertake these improvements to our historic highway heritage. The meeting will discuss the project’s aims with Parishes, interested groups, and members of public. They are keen to hear your views and identify some community involvement opportunities.
