Parents of children living on the Roseland are invited to two events being hosted by Veryan Primary School.
The school hosts a free, weekly Rhythm and Rhyme session for children under five every Tuesday afternoon from 1.30 to 3pm in Veryan Parish Hall. It is organised with Truro and the Roseland Children’s Centre.
All parents and children are welcome and should call 01872 322661 to book a place.
The school is also holding an open morning on Thursday, October 15, which is for parents of current pupils and for parents deciding which primary school they would like their children to attend.
Speaking to Roseland Online, Head of school, Dan Phillips, said: “It will be a great opportunity to see the teaching methods used, particularly for maths and literacy, and to meet us all.
“I look forward to seeing parents of our pupils and hopefully to meeting some new faces. The executive principal of St Piran’s Cross Multi-Academy Trust, Mark Lees, will also be here to meet and talk to parents.
“We will be able to answer any questions you might have over a cup of tea or coffee.”
The open morning takes place on October 15 from 9am to 11.45am.
