Gibson plays a well-respected Boston cop whose life is changed irrevocably by the murder of his only daughter and sole family member. Investigating the crime, he wreaks vengeance on the men he finds responsible.

Verdict: This could have been a much better film. There are way too many twists and turns and far too many characters. Added to this, there is a multitude of coincidences which throw the viewer right off centre. The end result is a confusing thriller that yearns to be much more than its end result. **
