The Roundhouse Barns, already the only EnjoyEngland 5* rated b&b on the Roseland, last night won another huge accolade. At the 2010 Cornwall Tourism Awards they found out that not only had they won a Silver Award for their B&B, but had also bagged a Gold Award for their Self Catering cottages, too. And there’s more… owner Barbara Sadler takes up the story: “Just as we were quaffing a bottle of bubbly with our team, Visit Cornwall announced that we had won the ‘Winner of Winners’ Award for 2010! It was incredible – how can a business run by just the two people beat large and small hotels, fabulous restaurants and cafe’s and wonderful tourism attractions to win the coveted ‘Winner of Winner’ Award?”

So how did they pull it off? “All we do know is that we care passionately about the quality of accommodation we provide and are proud of the very personal customer service and attention to detail we provide to our guests. Visit Cornwall seem to have recognised this and rewarded us.”

And how do you top that, Barbara? “I guess we’ll simply have to raise the bar still further for next year!”
